Policy and development work

Hackney Stop Falls Network has developed a wide range of working relationships, across the primary and secondary health sector, Hackney council and the voluntary sector. This reflects the multifactorial nature of falls among older adults, and therefore the need for a cross-disciplinary, multi-agency response. We are fully funded by City & Hackney Primary Care Trust (click here to see the main terms of our contract).

As well as delivering services, we are directly and indirectly represented on several key working groups and committees that oversee the development of Hackney’s Falls and Bone Health Care Pathway. We are proud to have been a driving force behind this care pathway and are committed to ensuring it works efficiently and effectively for the borough’s many older citizens
